About The Arts Club of Chicago
Founded in 1916, The Arts Club of Chicago fosters the appreciation of contemporary art, providing a space for artists, performers, and intellectuals to engage in meaningful dialogue. Through public exhibitions, performances, and member-driven events, The Arts Club continues to be a vital force in Chicago’s cultural landscape.
The Arts Club Fellowship is unique in its ability to connect artists. As a two-year program, with a cohort beginning each year, the new fellows overlap with the current class, opening up broad opportunities to collaborate and increase peer-to-peer networking and artist-to-artist mentorship. In addition to the nomination process, the Arts Club partners with ACRE Projects, a well-regarded residency and exhibition organization based in Chicago and Wisconsin to develop the next generation of emerging artists.
This Fellowship is made possible with support from the Holly Palmer Foundation as well as individual donors to The Arts Club of Chicago.
