Membership
The Arts Club of Chicago was founded in 1916 to bring together “art lovers” and “art workers” for a cultural conversation in a sophisticated setting. Since then, it has maintained a broad membership that spans the arts, including patrons as well as practitioners in music, literature, visual art, architecture, design, and administration.
We welcome applications from all those whose passion for the arts may be demonstrated through recommendation from friends or colleagues, and by a record of professional, philanthropic, or amateur activity. Those interested in applying may request a detailed application from The Arts Club office or from a current member. For those new to the city or the cultural community, the Club will be happy to facilitate introductions to current members. Please email membership@artsclubchicago.org for more information.
