Janine Mileaf and Ann Toebbe Lead Tour and Discussion

of Mernet Larsen: Situational Awareness

Tour 6:00 pm

On the occasion of Chicago Exhibition Week, The Arts Club hosts a tour in the current exhibition Mernet Larsen: Situational Awareness with Arts Club director and curator Janine Mileaf and artist Ann Toebbe. See the work of one artist through the understanding of another and learn about the innovative painting strategies explored by Larsen. Toebbe, who recently closed a solo exhibition at Hyde Park Art Center, is celebrated for her intricate collages of resonant spaces. She will bring an eye to Larsen’s uncanny subjects and her mind-bending manner of portraying them.
